“… Priests, healers, magicians and similar prophets, known for their refined sensitivity and gift for observation who are able to connect this world with the great beyond, known to the unknown, to understand the incomprehensible. They are able to read the fate and help a person to better understand it, how to face it and how to avoid it. Digital collages from Emir Šehanović are connecting prophetic images of the kind. They represent the visual content of the book that the author created consciously and sometimes unconsciously, based on his emotional state and special feelings. Despite carrying a set of a realistic baseline, we recognize various forms of animal and plant species, mythical creatures and a multitude of association to good and evil in these otherwise completely imaginary characters.
